Terms
Terms of use.
The ground rules for using this converter, in plain language rather than boilerplate. Using the site means you accept them.

Using the site
This site provides a free, browser-based converter that turns a Jupyter notebook (.ipynb) into a PDF. You may use it for personal or commercial work, at no cost and without registering.
You need a modern browser with JavaScript enabled. The conversion runs on your own device, so its speed and its limits depend on your machine: a very large notebook can be slow, and one with a great many high-resolution figures can exhaust the memory available to a browser tab.
Your notebook stays yours
The file you choose is parsed and rendered inside your browser and is never sent to this site, because there is no server-side component for it to be sent to. Nothing you convert is stored, copied or inspected here.
You keep every right to what you convert. This site claims no licence over your notebook or over the PDF produced from it, and because no copy is transferred there is nothing on our side to delete afterwards.
What you are responsible for
You are responsible for having the right to convert and distribute the material inside your notebook, and for reviewing the PDF before you rely on it.
Do not use the site to convert content you have no permission to copy, and do not attempt to disrupt the site, its hosting or other visitors’ use of it.
Accuracy of the output
A conversion is a best-effort rendering of the notebook’s own stored content. Not every output type can be represented on a fixed page: interactive widgets, animations and some HTML outputs are replaced with a short note in the document, and a notebook whose stored output differs from what the code would produce today will show the stored output.
Long listings, wide tables and tall figures are measured and adjusted so they fit a page, which means the layout of the PDF can differ from the notebook as it appears in Jupyter. Check the preview before downloading, and keep the original .ipynb file — the PDF is a copy of a snapshot, not a backup of the notebook.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
No promise is made that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will remain available, or that any particular notebook will convert exactly as you expect.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this site and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from your inability to use it — including lost data, lost time, or a deadline missed because a conversion did not work as expected.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, in which case those parts do not apply to you and the rest of these terms still do.
Availability and changes
The site may change, lose features or be withdrawn at any time, and it may be briefly unavailable while it is being deployed. There is no service level and no uptime commitment.
These terms may be revised as the site changes. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date at the top of the page is when it last changed.
Intellectual property and trademarks
The site’s own text, design and code belong to their author. Jupyter, JupyterLab, Google Colab, Kaggle, Deepnote and Visual Studio Code are trademarks of their respective owners; this site is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Project Jupyter or by any notebook vendor.
The FAQ and guide describe how competing routes to a PDF behave — nbconvert, pandoc, TeX distributions, browser print — but naming a product is a description of behaviour, not a claim of partnership with it.
Questions about these terms
Write to support@ipynbtopdfconverter.com or use the contact page. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions stay in force.
